Electronic Home Owner Grant
Welcome to the City of Pitt Meadows Electronic Home Owner Grant (eHOG)

The home owner grant is a grant to help British Columbians reduce their property taxes. There are two categories of grants:

1. The regular grant may reduce your taxes up to $570.

2. The additional grant may reduce your taxes up to $845.

You may qualify for either the regular grant or the additional grant, not both. To receive the grant, both the owner and the property must meet the qualification requirements.

Residents who are eligible for the home owner grant can apply online and avoid the line ups at City Hall. All you need to apply for the grant online is your Folio and Access Code both found on your property tax bill. (Example Here). Both the eHOG application and the actual tax payment must be submitted by the due date of July 2, 2020 to avoid a 5% penalty.

REMINDER: Home Owner Grants claimed after July 2nd will be subject to a penalty.

If you need assistance or have questions, please call the Tax department at 604-465-2418 during regular business hours.

If you did not claim the home owner grant for the previous year, you may apply using the Application for Retroactive Home Owner Grant (FIN 92)
